SHINE 2013

And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised again.
2 Corinthians 5:15

Saturday, March 2nd The Exchange participated in SHINE 2013. SHINE is a metro wide opportunity where dozens of churches across the Jackson metro area partner together to serve their cities. Over 30 people from The Exchange served at two different opportunities in Pearl. One group served at the Center for Pregnancy Choices doing landscaping and outside cleanup along with sorting and cleaning inside. Another group served at the Center for Violence Prevention's 2nd Chance Store sorting and organizing donations of clothes.

New Sunday Home

Starting Sunday, January 20th The Exchange will have a new Sunday home! The Sunday gathering will now take place at Pearl Lower Elementary School located at 160 Maryann Drive in Pearl. The Lower Elementary School is located right behind Pearl City Park off of Highway 80. We are so excited about the opportunity to meet here for the next season as we continue to prepare a place of our own. The gathering will still take place Sundays at 10:30am. Spread the word and invite someone to see what God is doing through The Exchange.

Clarity

One of our core values at The Exchange is that we are exchanging ideas for truth. We don't want to be a body of believers who tosses out ideas we have heard about Jesus and His Word, but rather we want to be a body of believers who gets the truth straight from the Bible. One of the ways we get to learn the truth of God's Word is to read it everyday. To help us with this, in 2013, we will be walking through the Clarity reading plan together as a church. This reading plan will take us through the New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs over the course of a year with scheduled daily readings. Download your copy of the Clarity reading plan here. Clarity kicks off on January 1st!
